The Challenge

A corporate law firm running B2B outreach relied entirely on cold email to reach new clients. Identifying prospects, researching each company, and writing personalised outreach emails was done manually from end to end.

Each sales rep spent an average of four hours per day on research and drafting — leaving only one to two hours for actual client conversations. The firm was generating strong legal work but losing business to rivals who simply moved faster in the sales process.

What We Built

INTESOL built a Claude API-powered lead automation pipeline in six weeks, designed to sit inside the team’s existing workflow rather than replace it.

Step 1 — Automated Prospect Intelligence: Integration with a company database API pulls target-industry prospect data automatically, aggregating company size, recent news, legal dispute history, and job postings to score and rank leads without manual research.

Step 2 — Claude API Personalised Email Drafts: Collected company data feeds directly into Claude, which generates a tailored outreach email for each prospect — connecting the firm’s specific practice areas to the prospect’s current business situation. The firm’s formal register and legal vocabulary are preserved throughout.

Step 3 — Auto CRM Entry and Follow-up Queue: Lead data and email drafts are pushed to the CRM automatically. Day-7 and Day-14 follow-up emails are added to a review queue, ready for one-click approval.

Step 4 — Performance Dashboard: Open rates, reply rates, and meeting conversion are tracked in real time, giving the team ongoing data on which industries and message types perform best.

Results

Six weeks after launch, daily research and email writing time dropped from four hours to thirty minutes — used only for final review. With that time freed up for actual conversations, weekly lead throughput per rep rose from 15 to 45 deals. Estimated monthly labour savings: approximately $1,300 per rep.
